Bezrodnym death cult, yoinked from some Symbiosis prose Alex de Campi did a while back. They live on huge amounts of a coca-like stimulant tea, and they let their bodies be worn away by altitude sickness and frostbite. The process of mental and physical deterioration is the religious practice. Each rarified inhalation is communion with the abyss.
Kind of a big collective of Bezrodnym meth-heads/biker gang as a religion. They have their own crumbling floating city, and raid other cities for what goods they may want. The longest-lived have the most power, and the dead are left on the roof of the city, to be eaten by high-altitude carrion birds. (huge lungs and wings, among other adaptations)

Agrippa, after which the Heart of Agrippa is named. The Heart of Agrippa is held by Katherine in the “Falling” piece.
Descended to the “Earth” of Symbiosis tens of thousands of years ago from celestial watchtower. Genderless. Gave knowledge of separation of the four elements from the Unum to the Order Hermetisk.
Their body sublimated into the ether after death, leaving only their heart, now kept, protected and used to open the mind, to clear obstacles and gain insights in the boundary between life and death. Agrippa is the infant and the codger, the mother and the father, the gasp of life and and the rattle of death.

(Also, as I was working on this I now realized that Symbiosis has a “magical black person” in it. Ah. Ha. Ha.)
Symbiosis design challenge of the day. ~40s styled outfit for a powerful business person, (chosen gender, female. Body heavy-set.) Make it look imposing but feminine. Current solution: avoid most traditional dress designs, but go with a lot of decorative cloth buttons down the arms, and pleats.
(The Merkateriak Traders Consortium is “Blind To All But Facilitation Of Trade” and wears a skull-cap while working, along with a vertronic harness of sorts that creates a sort of echolocation method of seeing the world. All printed communication is in a braille of sorts. )
In progress. We’ll see how it goes!
